"Winter Hardened" Luster Paper Wall Art From Colchester, Vermont
“Every time it has snowed here in Vermont, I’ve headed out searching for barred owls. However, every time the snow was too little, it didn’t last long, or I didn’t find the owl. This morning I headed out with no hopes of snow, simply looking to spend my morning with the barred owl. I arrived at 7 in the morning to nothing special and didn’t manage to find the owl. So I headed to another forest in hopes of finding a different individual. Nothing. As I returned to my initial location, slightly less than 2 hours later, snow had begun to fall; harder and harder it fell until there was a full storm. The snow had come out of nowhere, like a Christmas miracle!
Within a minute of returning, I managed to find the barred owl hunting along the path. Once the snow finally calmed, the barred owl landed on this perch, giving me my favorite photo of the day!”
