"Keeping Watch" Burrowing Owl Lustre Paper Wall Art From Scottsdale, Arizona
During the summer of 2024, burrowing owls quickly became my favorite species to photograph. I had wanted to capture them for years, but never knew exactly where to find them. That changed when a friend shared a location where they were often seen — and sure enough, I discovered several burrows, each with its own little family and unique photographic opportunities.
One particular burrow stood out. It was one of the few not located in the middle of a parking lot, making it one of the rare spots where I could create silhouette shots. Then, one morning, the owl that usually kept watch from a high metal post chose instead to perch on the rocks of its home — the perfect moment for the image I’d been hoping for.
Printed on Lustre paper and is printed in-house using the highest quality paper and ink to ensure the highest quality product! All prints are signed, titled, matted, and can be framed!
