"Gray Treefrog" Lustre Paper Wall Art From Williamstown, Massachusetts
Gray treefrogs prefer moist, deciduous woodlands and swamps near permanent sources of water. However, in the case of this population, I rarely find them in areas as beautiful as this. These Graytree frogs live in an area deforested for farms and homes with only three remaining ponds, and this year two of these ponds have almost completely dried up. Even with one still-functioning pond, the majority of calls come from an abandoned small pool. I’m not sure why they prefer this location, but I believe it’s likely for two main reasons. First, there are probably far fewer predators in this water source, and second, they have better hiding spots as a result of the hollow metal fencing around the pool.
Printed on Lustre paper and is printed in-house using the highest quality paper and ink to ensure the highest quality product! All prints are signed, titled, matted, and can be framed!
