In this image, you can see Bailey’s Beads, also known as the “diamond ring” effect — that striking red glow on the bottom left of the eclipse. This phenomenon occurs because the Moon’s rugged surface allows the Sun’s light to shine through in some spots, creating a dazzling effect.
